How to make transparent background 3D box shot and save as PNG or GIF format?

Now create a 3D box shot with transparent background is very easy with the latest version of Box Shot Maker.
The following screenshots show you how to do!
Note: Only PNG and GIF format support transparent background. PNG has two formats png-24bit and png-8bit.
Png-24bit supports alpha channel. Png-8bit and gif formats only support 256 colors but have small size.

1. Confirm that you have checked "Transparent Background" in "Environment" tab sheet. Only when this box is checked, you box or ebook can be rendered with transparent background.

2. Click "Render and Publish" in "Export Picture" tab sheet. Select PNG-24bit, PNG-Cutomize or GIF. Then picture will be rendered with transparent background. If you select "PNG-24bit", the final PNG picture with alpha channel will be saved directly to your disk. Else, a Color Adjust window will be open.

3. If you need save your box shot picture as png-8bit or gif, you need this color adjustment window. It helps you remove alpha channel and get a perfect 256-color look.

4. Final results. Certainly, you can also save your ebook shot as png or gif format without transparent background. Just uncheck "Transparent Background" in "Environment" tab sheet before rendering.
